To clarify, what I was referring to was the spatial alignment necessary for a conversation to take place easily and freely.  One could actually map out the optimal angles for engagement and how that may or may not change depending on the number of participants.  As I&#039;m right now in the middle of thesis reviews here at Syracuse, I can&#039;t help but think about all the possible ways that type of mapping assignment might find its way into an academic project.

I do realize that this is still (ironically) looking to architectural language and understanding to explain a seemingly mundane issue.  I too struggle with this.  However, I believe that the more I personally engage with non-architecturally educated audience, the more versed I will become in speaking their language.</description>
